Protein Snickers bars

An alternativ for snickers bars.

20 pieces - 128 kcal per piece

2,3g protein, 14,5g carbs, 6,3g fat 

Ingredients: 

  • 200g dried dates 
  • 60g oats 
  • 60g peanuts 
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 dl vanilla protein powder @tyngre 
  • 200g dark chocolate 55% up 

How to make it: 

Soak the dates in hot water for about 30 minutes. Mix the dates with the peanut butter and vanilla extract until it’s smooth, this is your caramel layer. 

Take about 80g of the mixture and blend with oats and vanilla protein to make your base layer. Add a little bit of water of needed, about 1 tbsp is usually enough. 

Put the two layers in a pan, first the base and then the caramel. Add the peanuts and then the melted chocolate. Put in the fridge and let harden, then cut into 20 pieces. Store in the fridge.
