Pickled red onion.
4-6 portions – 25 kcal per portion
0,5g protein, 4,5g cabs, 0g fats
Ingredients:
- 3 big read onions
- 3dl water
- 2dl sugar
- 1dl vinegar 12%
- pinch of salt
How to make it:
Finely chop the onion and place in an airtight glass container. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a pot and let it heat up while stirring. When all the ingredients are dissolved, take the top of the heat. Pour over the red onions, let it cool down and then place in the fridge.
Can be eaten after a few hours but is best the following day, so make it ahead of time! Can be stored in the fridge for two weeks, if it lasts that long…
