Homemade Pea-Pesto Pasta

Ingredients:
- 360g pasta (uncooked)
- 1dl peas (frozen works fine)
- 60g pine nuts
- 1dl grated parmesan (30%)
- 1/2dl olive oil
- 1 pot of basil (about 1 1/2 dl)
- 1/2 clove of garlic
- Salt & pepper
How to make it:
Place fresh peas in a bowl and pour over boiling water, let be for about 5 minutes then drain. (Or thaw the frozen peas). Place all the ingredients in a mixer and blend until smooth, season with salt and pepper to taste. Boil the pasta according to package, then mix in with the pesto. Topp with chicken or fish to add more protein to the dish.
The pesto can also be added to rice, salads or maybe a sandwich.
