Macro and micro nutrients.  

 Nutrients in our food are divided into energizing and non-energizing nutrients, which is also referred to as macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients are energy-rich substances that provides our bodies with energy. Macronutrients are protein, carbs and fats (also alcohol are considered to be a macro), our body needs these in big but varying quantities to function. Non-energizing nutrients does not provide any energy for out bodies, they are not needed in big quantities but they are very important for our health. Micronutrients are vitamins and minerals, which are needed for many different functions in our bodies and simply for us to feel good, fight of sickness and to function optimally.
